Tracy Mazurkiewicz ____My love of animals goes back as far as I can remember. When I was 8 my family moved to Virginia, where I was able to enjoy more opportunities to be around and work with animals. The year we moved I got my first dog, a sheltie named Kasey. Since then I have had at least one animal in my house and sometimes more. |

____I have always had a love
for horses. At the age of nine I got the chance to start riding and have been
riding ever since. For the past 12 years I have had the pleasure of owning
a horse named Gold Cup. ____ My first jobs involved caring for animals and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to focus my career on animal care. That is why I went to Veterinary Technician School, which I graduated from in the spring of 2000. I started my career in emergency medicine where I enjoyed the challenge of working with critical patients. I made the changed to a daytime practice in order to have the opportunity to get to know the patients and clients better. Being able to care for animals throughout their life and knowing them as if they were my own is why I stay in veterinary medicine. |
